About

This is the course website for HIST B303, History in Public (Spring 2016), an upper level History Department seminar taught by Dr. Monica L. Mercado, CLIR Postdoctoral Fellow and Director of The Albert M. Greenfield Digital Center for the History of Women’s Education at Bryn Mawr College. It builds upon the Spring 2015 History seminar Higher Education for Women: Bryn Mawr and Beyond.

You can view the course syllabus as a PDF (updated 2/29/16).

Students in HIST B303 will use this space primarily to share their reflections on the stakes of public history and campus history.

The Greenfield Digital Center considers blogging and outreach through other social media channels an important part of its work in making visible the work of women’s history (visit our blog, Educating Women, or connect with us on Twitter).
